The Enterprising Kitchen uses only the finest ingredients and purest essential oils to ensure the best experience and value for our customers. All products are manufactured in small batches onsite at the Chicago facility. Each product includes the mission statement on its label and is signed by the woman who packages it.

All natural vegetable glycerin soap infused with natural botanicals that produce an exceptionally silky lather and leave skin feeling soft and clean.

Balinese Batik Soap

These soaps are produced in a small cooperative of artisan soap makers and organic farmers from high in the mountains of Bali. The all natural ingredients are beeswax, coconut oil, aloe vera & essential oils. Chempaka is an indigenous flower with a lovely light aroma that is used to scent holy water in Bali. Each soap is individually wrapped in hand screened, zen zen original cotton fabric.

Our cold process bars are made from a blend of natural oils, including moisturizing shea butter, olive, palm, coconut, and soybean oils, and wheat germ oil, known for its soothing and antioxidant properties. Each bar is infused with essential oils for a perfect sensory experience. Gentle to the skin, wonderfully fragrant and available in 10 popular scents.

Fair Trade Winds has two retail locations on the east coast and is thankful for all of its online customers from all over the country! As the first exclusively Fair Trade store in Bar Harbor, Maine and Fairfax, Virginia, we are a family-run business committed to helping alleviate global poverty and increase social responsibility through fair trade. The store seeks to empower consumers to become an integral part of a cooperative effort that benefits farmers, artisans, and the environment. If you are in the Washington, DC metro area, we welcome you to our Fairfax store. We are open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am-9:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm-6:00 pm, and located between University Drive and Chain Bridge Road, next to Panera Bread. Plenty of free parking.

In Bar Harbor, our winter store hours are Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 pm-6:00 pm. In the spring and summer, we are open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am-9:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm-6:00 pm, and will stay open later if Bar Harbor is still hopping! Customers say their vacation to Mt. Desert Island or Acadia National Park is not complete without a trip to our store.
