Description

This basket is a work of art to display in your home or office. Also colorful, sturdy storage for makeup, craft supplies, sewing notions, snacks, or a dazzling nest for your favorite potted plant. Baskets are made from renewable grass, palm leaves and natural dyes in colors of burnt orange, violet, crimson, and black.

These baskets are made by weavers at the Darfur Peace & Development Women’s Center in North Darfur, Sudan. Each product carries a hangtag with the weaver's name. When you buy a basket, you do so much more than just buy a product--you enable a woman to be self-sufficient, you help educate her, and you empower her. When you empower a woman, you change the world.

Dimensions: 5.5" tall, 6-7" wide with lid (each product is crafted with a unique design, so sizes vary slightly)
