As our resident college-goer, here in Seattle, we asked one of our newest employees Hannah to tell us some of her favorite back to school items. Here’s her list:
1) Tree-free Journals
“Back to school means back to making schedules, writing lists and taking notes. No matter where I’m headed – the grocery, the library or even a coffee shop, I always make sure I have a stylish pad to jot down some thoughts!”
2) Sling Satchel
“Being the music lover that I am, fall means the season of concerts! But standing in a crowded audience isn’t always enjoyable when I carry a huge purse. So instead, I turn to a mini satchel—it’s just the right size for all the things I need for a night out of music enjoyment: my ticket, some money, house key, and my phone.”
3) Bamboo Infinity Scarf
“Fall weather means cooler temperatures, more wind, and more rain—at least here in the Pacific Northwest. My favorite way to bundle up for fall is with our Bamboo Infinity Scarf. Its punch of color brightens up any drab fall day, spices up an outfit, and let’s be real, keeps you warm whether you’re walking to school, running errands, or visiting a pumpkin patch for some seasonal decorations.”
The Corte Infinity Scarf is eco-friendly and was made from traditional Mayan skirt fabric by a group called Altiplano. Altiplano is “committed to creating innovative products that support indigenous communities and the environment.”
“Look good, and feel good about doing so too!”
4) Beehive Hanging Lamp
“I don’t know about you, but when I sit down to read a book or study for school I hate the harsh brightness and strain many traditional overhead or fluorescent lights can cause. I prefer a softer light, still bright enough to see well but not so bright you get a blaring headache. So my favorite study tool is the Beehive Hanging Lamp.”
5) Chamomile Loose Leaf Tea
“School can be stressful! Between a hectic class schedule, all that reading, seeing all my friends and living away from home, it can easily be a bit of an overload. Sometimes I just need a cup of chamomile before bed to calm me down so I can get a full night’s rest and be ready for the next full day!”
What do you think of Hannah’s list? Tell us what items you can’t (or couldn’t) do without when it’s time to go Back to School!
