Maggie’s Organics was founded in 1992 based upon the premise that clothing and accessories should be comfortable, durable and affordable, and should be produced in such a way that respects and protects our planet’s resources and the lives of those who make the products in Peru and India.

Maggie’s works directly with farmers, textile makers, and dyers to ensure safe and fair working conditions at every level of their supply chain.  This affords their partners honest and prompt pay.  Maggie’s commits itself to worker owned cooperatives cultivating the skills necessary for each cooperative involved with Maggie’s to succeed.  Maggie’s is consistently recognized by 3rd party groups for their commitment to their principles and their workers thereby transforming the lives of the workers and cooperatives they work with.
