Pamper Yourself with Fair Trade

Here at Fair Trade Winds we love discovering new products with great stories.  One of our newest finds is a company called Thistle Farms, based in Magdalene, TN.  Thistle Farms provides women who have survived prostitution, addiction and trafficking with residency while they learn the skills of social enterprise and make their way back into the work force.

Like the thistle in their logo, the women have struggled against the cracks and pressures of society and proven that they can still thrive and grow.  Thistle Farmers take pride in loving the parts of creation that others have forgotten and put by the way side and this is reflected in their products – and their motto “Love Heals Every Body.”

We love the Thistle Farms products for their message and for the all-natural formulas.  They have room spray, body butter, hand lotion and lip balm in lots of great scents.  The Tuscan Earth is particularly unique and a staff favorite!
