After many years of partnership, Fair Collection artisans are now able to send their children to school and provide opportunities to secure a bright future. Some families have even been able to save money so their children will have security as they grow older.
Faire Collection uses sustainably harvested nuts like Tagua, Acai and Achira seeds from the rainforest in Ecuador. This helps preserve the forests for future generations by providing alternative income for farmers who otherwise would cut trees down for logging and agriculture.
Faire Collection ensures women get paid fairly and can gain experience in the workshop to give them confidence to become leaders in their community. Many women help train their neighbors so they can join the workshop and better provide for their families.
These earrings feature a fan of tiny recycled Kantha textile beads dangling from an elongated gold tone oval frame, which is wrapped with golden wire interspersed with gold seed beads.
