After many years of partnership, Fair Collection artisans are now able to send their children to school and provide opportunities to secure a bright future. Some families have even been able to save money so their children will have security as they grow older.
Faire Collection uses sustainably harvested nuts like Tagua, Acai and Achira seeds from the rainforest in Ecuador. This helps preserve the forests for future generations by providing alternative income for farmers who otherwise would cut trees down for logging and agriculture.
Faire Collection ensures women get paid fairly and can gain experience in the workshop to give them confidence to become leaders in their community. Many women help train their neighbors so they can join the workshop and better provide for their families.

Sustainable Forest Resources
Tagua nuts, acai seeds, and, achira seeds grow abundantly in the forests of Ecuador. Seeds and nuts are gathered from the forest floor while others require a skilled farmer to climb into the canopy to harvest ripe pods. Trees are not harmed and the harvesting of these seeds helps to ensure the survival of the Ecuador’s forests by providing an alternative income for its inhabitants in place of logging or slash and burn agriculture.
