FAQs About Sending Quilling Cards
Requires extra postageย โ Because of the thickness, these cards canโt be run through the post office machine so they require a surcharge. This amount changes so itโs best to check with your local post office or simply add an extra stamp.
Extra paper โย There is blank paper inside each card. Itโs removable so you can use the card for pen-pals and send back and forth โ simply add a new paper insert each time!
Sturdyย โ Quilling cards are quite durable and will arrive in great shape and wonโt get smushed in the mail.

About The Artisans
In 2014 Quilling Card started one workshop with 100 women; today they have a second facility and have over 500 women working to preserve the art of quilling and provide a living for themselves. In addition to their 2 workshops, Quilling Card also created a program for women with disabilities. Societal aid is not available in Vietnam as it is in the U.S. and leaves vulnerable people out of economic opportunities. Quilling Card allows these women to take supplies home and complete their work on their own time. They get paid per piece finished and are able to contribute and create beautiful work they otherwise would not have the chance to do.
