Made from 100% naturally water-repellent wool, along with hemp cord and a bamboo perch, they’re designed to be both charming and practical. 

The felted wool naturally helps repel water, keeping the interior cozy and dry through changing weather. A bottom opening also makes it easy to remove old nesting materials when needed.

Felt Birdhouse FAQs

A: Yes! Small birds like chickadees, 

A: It depends on the location. If hung in a protected outdoor area, such as under a porch roof, our birdhouses will last for years. If placed in direct sun, the colors will gently fade in 2-3 months. 

A: Our birdhouses are made of water-repellent sheep's wool. Moisture from rain or snow will wick through and around the felt nest. Wool naturally breathes so it will dry out once the rain stops. 

A: Yes. Each birdhouse has a clean out hole in the bottom so you can remove old twigs or nesting materials.

A: Choose a sheltered spot that's protected from harsh weather, ideally somewhere quiet and away from direct, constant sunlight. A porch, covered patio, balcony, or garden area can all make great locations.
