Additional Information
Handmade with Care
The lamp frames are constructed from wrought iron that is hand-manipulated and welded into artisanal shapes. It is then sanded and finished with a powder coat.
Artisans collect many leaves, then soak them and rub the chlorophyll off, leaving only the “skeleton.” Then, they dye the leaves with non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes. Each leaf is then placed by hand on a standard UL lamp backing. The backing adds durability and protects the shade from damage.

Sustainable Materials
The leaves used in our lamps are collected after they fall from a tree naturally or they are plucked carefully from a living tree. In either case, the plant isn’t harmed. Additionally, our purchase of the leaves provides a secondary income to the framers who grow and care for plants.
