Whitewashed Albizia Nativity

Smaller than i thought but beautiful

I love this nativity.

I have had a very beautiful nativity since I was 10 (so more than 50 years, I won't tell precisely:) and I am very happy with it, it was hand made by a very old French company and I remember that int he 80's Japanese copied the model! But I wanted to have something else, less figures (I have more than 50!) and another style. The only nice nativities I saw on internet (according to my taste, of course) were 100 % resin made in China and I wanted one made by hand. The German and Scandinavian nativities are handmade in wood also, but not what I wanted. I kept on browsing and after a while, I searched in English and fell on that nativity! It was fair trade, the price was absolutely correct, and so cute! I was a bit distabilized because Jesus was in Mary's arms and not apart and I did not see any ox or donkey but what's the point? To tell the truth, I found the nativity on another US website but it happened they did not ship to France. I was very disappointed but kept on searching and I found Fair Trade Winds. Great contact, great website, great products, all fair trade, I can only but recommend, also to European customers (the shipping costs are OK) and I will be back very soon on this website for other purchases! As for the Whitewashed Albizia Nativity, it is perfect and it was a brilliant idea to put a photo of the people who make it in Indonesia. Merry Christmas to all:)
