  • Handmade In Nepal

    Our felt flowers are handmade in Nepal by artisans in a fair trade co-op which combats urban poverty by providing employment to women in Kathmandu. The women get skills-training in the ancient technique of felting which allows them to gain a sense of independence, send their children to school, and provide for their households.

  • Sustainable Materials

    Each felt flower and stem is dyed, cut, & stitched by hand from felted wool. Wool is natural, renewable, & biodegradable. The artisan co-op receives 100% New Zealand sheep’s wool in a raw form, then they wet the wool with soap & water, and then agitate the fibers to form a dense fabric. The fabric sheets are then cut and stitched into different flower shapes, each with a bendable wire inside for structure and life-like movement.

Yes, felt flowers are hypoallergenic and a great alternative for individuals with allergies to real flowers.

Compared to real flowers that require attention every few days and eventually wither away, our felt flowers are incredibly easy to care for and will last forever! Simply use a can air-duster or a damp sponge to get rid of dust that may land over time.

Yes, they are made of hypo-allergenic wool and natural dyes.

The stems have bendable wire inside! Simply bend the stems to the desired height so they fit in the vase.You can make some flowers shorter or taller to make the bouquet have the best shape in your vase.

If placed in direct sunlight they may fade overtime. It’s best to keep them in a shaded or indoor space where they’ll maintain their vibrancy for years.

Yes, if your felt flowers arrive a little squished from the mail you can usually just bend the flower petals to refresh into desired shape. Use a spritz of water on the petals if extra shaping is required. (They’re made of wool so it won’t hurt them to get a little wet and won’t form mold.)
